THE PROBLEM

Many parents, teachers, youth counselors and pediatricians lack awareness of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and their long-term negative impacts on children's health, well-being, and learning. With over two-thirds of children in the US affected by ACEs, and the prevalence of

divorce/ parental alienation and economic hardship contributing to this issue, there is a pressing need to address these challenges early to prevent

chronic diseases and promote

holistic child development.

THE SOLUTION

Parents, educators, and healthcare providers can work collaboratively to increase education of ACEs and implement preventive & intervention strategies. In addition, promoting resilience-building skills and coping mechanisms in children, parents, and educators to mitigate the

effects of ACEs and foster emotional, mental,

and physical well-being. This includes teaching mindfulness, emotional regulation, problem-solving, and positive communication techniques.
